The U10 Club girls and boys teams played their county round on Sunday 10th March at Kings of Wessex School in Cheddar in what can only be described as very difficult conditions.  Once the goals had been secured to the back fence to stop them blowing sideways the action began.  The boys were first up and had the worst of the wind but despite this all teams played some fantastic hockey and congratulations to Taunton Civil Service who are crowed the County Champions and Taunton Vale the runners up.

The girls took to the pitch after lunch and whilst the wind had eased somewhat a few hefty gusts still made their mark.  The girls competition was incredibly tight and all to play for in the last matches still.  Taunton Civil Service managed to secure County Champions and Yeovil & Sherborne Runners Up on goal difference.

As ever thanks to all the coaches, umpires and supporters and special thanks to Rosemary Tyson, Cameron and Holly for ensuring the day ran smoothly and securing the goals so they did not move.

These four teams will now represent Somerset in the West Regionals in May.
